Christmas Ornament

Hello friends!!  Please do not faint, it really is me posting, hehehe!!  It has been a bit hit and miss for me the last few months, breaking my wrist, leaving my job and starting up my business.  Combine that with being a housewife and mother, three dogs, three cats and five horses, I think you might get an idea of how busy my life is!!  But I love it and wouldn't have it any other way - well maybe another dog :)

Anyhow here is my creation.  It is a Christmas ornament, created for the Inky Impressions challenge this week.  There is a prize of four digis to be won, so why not hop over and have a peep?  We want to see a handmade ornament of a project with ornaments or decorations on it - easy!!

As you probably know, DTs are swapping and changing all the time, and I have some amazingly talent ladies on my team of Inkettes at the moment!!  And I have some new ones starting soon.  I am really proud of the Inky Impressions DT, including those on our Inspiration blog, they never fail to come up with new and original ideas - thanks girls!!

OK enough gushing!! Here is my ornament

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog, I hope you like what you see.  Don't forget to hop over to the Inky Impressions challenge blog and play along this week

Red and Green Box

Hello my friends!!!  After saying I would be around more, I then disappeared of the face of blogland!!!  I am so sorry :(  But it has been a good time for me as my portrait business is booming and I have been up all hours trying to get portraits finished in time for Christmas....nearly there - whew!!!  Who would have thought that giving up work would make me more busy, with less time to craft????

So here I am back once again with a little papercraft project.  It is for Inky Impressions, where the challenge this week is

Red & Green

Perfect in the run up to Christmas.  I have decorated this little pre-made box for my daughter Bethan, to put her handmade jewellery in and give to friends - I have a feeling I will be doing a lot more of these!!  The sentiment on the top of the box is an Inky Impressions digi and just perfect for this.  I have used a nesties die to cut it out.

Use Blue as the Main Colour - Inky Impressions

Hello my good friends,

I have decided with my health problems, I think they call it clumsiness!!!  No seriously after my spinal injury a couple of years ago, when I was violently removed from a bucking horse's back!!  I have been having problems with lifting (even small animals can weigh up to 40 or 50 kg!) I have decided to finish my career of Veterinary Nursing.  Very sad, but at least I will have more crafting time - although no money to spend on goodies!!!!

Here is my creation for Inky Impressions this week, the theme we have is

Use Blue as your Main Colour

The prize is a lovely $10 to spend in the on line Inky store!!  Here is my card

Colouring - Copics
Papers -" Up, up and Away"
Dies - Spellbinders

Thank you so much for stopping by, see you soon

Food - Inky Impressions

Hello my lovely friends!!!

This week at Inky Impressions the theme is one very close to my heart (and tummy!)

I love it, too much according to the button on my favourite jeans that will not fasten any more!!!!!  As a vegan, most folk think my diet must be healthy, boring and lacking in variety - far from it!  I cook up delicious cakes, biscuits, pies and all sorts of other scrummy and fattening goodies!!

Here is my DT card for the challenge, using the cute rubber stamp "Hazel Baking Cookies"
If you play along you could be in with a chance of winning $10 to spend in the Inky Impressions on line store!!

Colouring - Promarkers and Polychromos
Paper - Pink Gem download
Dies - Nesties
Punch - Martha Stewart
